The Australian Warehousing Association is an industry based association that is only as strong as the contribution and support of its members. We believe that the new warehouse employee who is just commencing a career is as important as the manager of a national warehousing organisation.
Under our Constitution there are a number of categories of members. These are:-
- Fellow
- Associate Fellow
- Member
- Student
- Retired
- Affiliate (Overseas)
To become a member download the membership application form and complete all details. As part of your application you will need to submit a brief resume of a maximum of two pages so that the membership committee can successfully allocate your grade.
FELLOW
This category of membership is for a person with 10 or more years of experience working in the warehousing and distribution industry. The annual membership fee is $200 plus GST. Your resume attached to the application form will confirm your years of experience.
ASSOCIATE FELLOW
This category of membership is for a person with 5 or more years of experience working in the warehousing and distribution industry. The annual membership fee is $150 plus GST. Your resume attached to the application form will confirm your years of experience.
MEMBER
This category of membership is for a person working in the warehousing and distribution industry. This is for new entrants to the industry up to five years experience. The annual membership is $100 plus GST. A resume is not required with this application.
STUDENT
This category of membership is for students doing any form of nationally recognised study are eligible to be the student grade. The annual membership fee is $50 plus GST. You will need to provide confirmation of your student number issued by government or university that you are studying in a nationally accredited program in the warehousing and distribution industry.
RETIRED
This category of membership is for a person no longer working in the warehousing and distribution industry but desires to stay involved in current trends and processes. The annual membership fee is $30 plus GST.
AFFILIATE (OVERSEAS)
This category of membership is for a person not residing in Australia but wants to be informed of warehousing and distribution trends in Australia. The annual membership fee is A$50 plus GST.
The Association will abide by the requirements of the Privacy Act and your details will be kept confidential and stored in a membership database.
